Features of the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system

The Connection Dental Network has automated features to make verifying your provider information quick and easy. You access the following through our IVR system after following the requested phone prompts:

  • Fee schedule fax back
  • Location effective date
  • Initial application status

The IVR system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 800.505.8880 and follow the provider validation prompt.

GEHA Code of Ethical Business Conduct

As part of our GEHA Compliance Program, all contracted entities that perform administrative or health care services must review the GEHA Code of Ethical Business Conduct. This review is mandatory and must be completed when the partnership with GEHA starts and annually thereafter. Please visit our website at connectiondental.com and select Resource Center. Under Resource Links, select GEHA Code of Ethical Business Conduct and read the documents. No other action is needed.

Rewards Program

For all in-network providers there are some great discounts available to you from a variety of companies. Simply go to connectiondental.com, click on Benefits of Joining, and click on Rewards Program to view all the Rewards Program discounts that are available.

Peak Health joins GEHA Connection Dental Network

We would like to welcome Peak Health who will access the GEHA Connection Dental Network through an agreement with Paramount Dental effective 1/1/2024. The GEHA Connection Dental Payor list can be located at connectiondental.com under the Resource Center/Connection Dental Network Payor list tab.
Peak Health provides Medicare Advantage members access to our West Virginia network. No action is required by your office at this time.

UHC Standard and High plan

We would like to inform you regarding a new arrangement between GEHA and UnitedHealthcare (UHC) that may bring more patients to your practice. Effective 1/1/2024, GEHA started offering medical plans that includes dental coverage. GEHA’s FEHB medical members can select a Medicare Advantage Standard or High plan that is administered by UHC.

Through your provider agreement with the GEHA Connection Dental Network, you may be an in-network provider for these Medicare Advantage plan members. Claims will be processed for reimbursement in accordance to your assigned GEHA Connection Dental Network fee schedule.

Medicare Advantage Payor announcement

Did you know that some GEHA Connection Dental Network payors offer Medicare Advantage plans in addition to commercial plans? Please contact the payor directly for benefits and confirm participation through your Connection Dental Fee Schedule. Currently, Medicare Advantage plans are offered by:

  • Aetna
  • Dominion National
  • Dental Network of America (DNOA)
  • Commonwealth Care Alliance of Rhode Island
  • Humana
  • Paramount Dental
  • United Concordia Inc
  • United Healthcare/Dental Benefit Providers

Since these plans follow Medicare Advantage guidelines, you will need to comply with related requests sent by GEHA Connection Dental Network, including annual fraud, waste and abuse training and quarterly directory updates. Both tasks can be completed at connectiondental.com within the Provider Portal. You will receive a prompt to complete your training when required.
