Features of the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system

The Connection Dental Network has automated features to make verifying your provider information quick and easy. You access the following through our IVR system after following the requested phone prompts:

  • Fee schedule fax back
  • Location effective date
  • Initial application status

The IVR system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 800.505.8880 and follow the provider validation prompt.

GEHA Code of Ethical Business Conduct

As part of our GEHA Compliance Program, all contracted entities that perform administrative or health care services must review the GEHA Code of Ethical Business Conduct. This review is mandatory and must be completed when the partnership with GEHA starts during the initial application process — and annually independently thereafter. Please visit our website at connectiondental.com and select Resource Center. Under Resource Links, select GEHA Code Of Ethical Business Conduct and read the documents. No other action is needed. Dominion National has contracted with AmeriHealth

We are pleased to announce Dominion National has contracted with AmeriHealth Insurance Company of New Jersey to administer embedded comprehensive dental plans for its new Medicare Advantage suite of products.

As a participating GEHA Connection Dental Network provider, you are receiving this notice because your office is contracted to see members of AmeriHealth Medicare Advantage plans. Claims will be processed according to your GEHA Connection Dental fee schedule.

The network partnership is effective as of January 1, 2024, and is a strategic step in ensuring AmeriHealth’s Medicare Advantage membership has wide access to quality participating dental providers in New Jersey and the surrounding areas.

The new Medicare Advantage dental PPO plans offer comprehensive benefits with no deductibles or waiting periods. Diagnostic and preventive services are covered in full by the plan, with select basic restorative, endodontic, periodontic services offering 80% coverage. The plan also offers coverage for major services, such as dentures, implants and oral surgery at the 60% coinsurance level. Depending on the Medicare Advantage plan in which the member is enrolled, non-preventive annual maximums range from $1,000 to $2,000.

Members will present their AmeriHealth Medicare Advantage medical card in the office. Your office will use the 10-digit AmeriHealth ID number to verify eligibility and benefits and file claims. Claims can be submitted either by mail or electronically by using the following information:

UnitedHealthcare Alterwood Advantage

Thank you for participating in the UnitedHealthcare National Medicare Dental network. We’d like to highlight Alterwood Advantage plans as you might have started to see patients with these plans with an effective date of January 1, 2024.

The new Alterwood Advantage plans are offered by Alterwood Health Management Company, Inc., and are consistent with other UnitedHealthcare National Medicare plans.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

Covered services are paid in accordance with your contracted fee agreement. Non-covered services are paid by the member at your usual and customary fees.
