Code of Conduct

As part of our GEHA Compliance Program, all contracted entities that perform administrative or health care services must review the GEHA Code of Ethical Business Conduct. This review is mandatory and must be completed when the partnership with GEHA starts during the initial application process — and annually independently thereafter.

Please visit our website at connectiondental.com and select “Resource Center.” Under Resource Links, select “GEHA Code Of Ethical Business Conduct” and read the documents. No other action is needed. If you have any questions regarding this request, contact GEHA Connection Dental Network at 1-800-505-8880, option 4. We appreciate your participation in the GEHA Connection Dental Network.

Features of the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system

We have automated features to make verifying your provider information quick and easy. You can access the features below through our IVR system, after following the requested phone prompts:

  • Fee schedule fax back
  • Location effective date
  • Initial application status

The IVR system is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call 1-800-505-8880 and follow the provider validation prompt.

Medicare Advantage enrollment: An expanding opportunity

Since 2010, Medicare Advantage enrollment has more than doubled, and this growth is expected to only continue. Nearly all Medicare Advantage plans offered to beneficiaries now include an option for dental coverage. By partnering with these plans, your practice can benefit from the growing number of patients seeking dental coverage through Medicare Advantage.

Important note: It’s always best practice to contact the payor directly to verify benefits and confirm your participation via your GEHA Connection Dental Network fee schedules before seeing the patient.

To see a current list of the Medicare Advantage plans, please access your Payor List on our Provider Portal.

Directory verification now on the provider portal

To maintain the most current directory information and comply with state regulations, GEHA Connection Dental Network requires providers in certain states to complete a Directory State verification on a regular basis. Below are the state-specific requirements:

  • Annually: Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon
  • Biannually: California, West Virginia
  • Quarterly: Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, Texas

To simplify this process, the Directory State verification is now available through your Provider Portal. Please follow the steps on the next page to access and complete your verification.

An accurate directory means your patients can easily find you!

Accessing the Provider Portal

We want to remind you of the many tasks you can complete easily on the GEHA Connection Dental Network Provider Portal. This portal offers a variety of features to help you manage your information quickly and conveniently. You’re able to:

  • Access your fee schedule
  • Add, update or terminate addresses
  • Download and view the Payor List
  • Complete Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) requirements
  • Complete quarterly verification
  • Complete State Directory updates if applicable

Register as a new user:

  1. Go to connectiondental.com and select “Register” at the top of the home page. Complete all required fields, including your CDN contact ID number, which is needed to display your information in the Provider Portal. If you need your CDN contact ID, please call 1-800-505-8880, option 4.
  2. Once registered, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your Connection Dental Network web account. After confirming, you may log in and complete any updates.

Log in as an existing user:

Go to connectiondental.com and select “Log In.” Enter your email address, then your password and security question answer. If you registered, but did not enter your CDN contact ID number, you will need to enter it before the Provider Dashboard will display:

  1. Navigate to “Manage Account.”
  2. Select “Profile Information.”
  3. Enter your CDN contact ID (if you need your CDN Contact ID, please call the support number provided below).
  4. Select “Submit.”
  5. The dashboard should display. If it does not, select “Manage Account” again to refresh.

Paramount Dental is now HRI Dental & Vision
Paramount Dental has a new name: HRI Dental & Vision.

Explore their updated website, InsuringSmiles.com. Here you can access member benefits, submit pre-treatments and claims and view Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).

HRI Dental & Vision manages dental plans for various health plans, including Champion Health, Antidote Health, Select Health and Peak Health. As a result, you will be considered in-network for all members of these plans.

Mid-American Benefits is now Point C
The company formerly known as Mid-American Benefits has rebranded to Point C.
