Features of the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) System

We have automated features to make verifying your provider information quick and easy. Access the features below through our IVR system after following the requested phone prompts:

• Fee schedule fax back
• Location effective date
• Initial application status

The IVR system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 1-800-505-8880 and follow the provider validation prompt.

2026 Connection Dental Fee Schedules

The 2026 G.E.H.A Connection Dental Fee Schedules are now available. Access your fee schedule via the IVR by fax, through the provider portal at connectiondental.com, or call 1-800-505-8880, option 3.

2026 CDT Code Changes

Please begin using the 2026 CDT codes on claims for treatment provided on and after January 1, 2026.

Added CDT codes include:

D0461, D1720, D5877, D5878, D6049, D6280, D9224, D9225, D9936, D0364, D0365, D0366, D0367, D0368

Deleted CDT codes include:

D1352, D1705, D1706, D1707, D1712, D9248

Benefit Changes to G.E.H.A FEDVIP Plan for 2026

• D2989 – Excavation of a tooth resulting in non-restorability (Class B), limited to once per tooth per lifetime
• D9224 – Administration of general anesthesia with advanced airway (first 15-minute increment)
• D9225 – Administration of general anesthesia with advanced airway (each additional 15-minute increment)

Sedation/Anesthesia/Analgesia is limited to a maximum of 12 units per date of service.

Orthodontic payments will now be made monthly instead of quarterly.

Mandatory General Compliance and Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) Training

Complete required training via the provider portal at connectiondental.com.

Changes to G.E.H.A Dental Member ID Cards for 2026

Effective January 1, 2026, certain members will receive updated ID cards.

DenteMax Gold Kidney Health Plan

Effective January 1, 2026, providers will gain access to the Gold Kidney Health Plan.
