Providers can now more easily locate information related to:
- Initial application and participation resources
- Compliance requirements and annual reviews

New law for dental providers in Massachusetts
In June, a new law, 211 CMR 52.13, was enacted, requiring providers to promptly advise the Network when their availability to see new patients changes, including when they implement a wait list. Providers may notify the Network by calling 1-800-505-8880, option 4, or by emailing connection.dentalweb@geha.com
Dedicated support for dental providers
We're committed to making it easier for providers to get answers and resolve concerns. We have enhanced our provider support model through the Dental Provider Resolution Team, focusing on delivering greater accountability, communication and issue resolution. Providers should continue to use standard support channels for routine questions related to claims, payments, authorizations and other common inquiries:
- Provider services: 1-877-417-5947
- Provider portal: Portal login
If an issue remains unresolved, the Dental Provider Resolution Team can provide additional assistance with concerns such as complex claims, claims payment issues, coordination of benefits (COB) accuracy questions, pre-determination estimate verification and repeated unresolved inquiries.
Contact the team at providersupport@geha.com

Important Aetna Medicare Advantage network update
Effective January 1, 2027, G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network providers will no longer be considered participating in-network providers for Aetna Medicare Advantage dental plans.
This change does not affect your participation in the G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network and will not impact Aetna's continued use of the network for its Commercial PPO and PPO II dental plans. Providers will continue to serve members enrolled in those Aetna commercial dental products.
For questions regarding member eligibility, benefits or plan participation, please contact Aetna Provider Services at 1-800-624-0756.
G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network payor list
The G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network payor list is available for download through our provider website after logging in. It can be used as a reference when identifying participating payors. However, inclusion on the payor list does not guarantee that a member's employer group participates in the G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network. Providers should always verify eligibility and benefits directly with the payor prior to rendering services.
Need payor contact information? Contact Provider Relations at 1-800-505-8880, option 3, for assistance.
Medicare Advantage plan benefits
Under the G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network Payor List, all Medicare Advantage Plans are processed as PPO dental benefits.
This means you can treat Medicare Advantage members the same as any other PPO patient. There are no HMO dental restrictions to consider when verifying eligibility, administering benefits or providing covered dental services.
For questions regarding eligibility or benefits, please contact G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network at 1-800-505-8880.
Code of Conduct
As part of the G.E.H.A Compliance Program, all contracted entities providing administrative or healthcare services are required to review the G.E.H.A Code of Ethical Business Conduct. This review must be completed during the initial application process and independently each year thereafter.
How to complete your annual review:
- Visit the Resource Center
- Under Resource Links, click G.E.H.A Code of Ethical Business Conduct and review the documents
We appreciate your participation in the G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network. If you have any questions regarding this request, contact us at 1-800-505-8880, option 4.
