National Dental Hygiene Month is observed every October to celebrate the work of dental hygienists and raise awareness of the importance of good oral health.
Here’s a tip for you to share with your patients:
Water flossing on a regular daily basis has been found to be highly effective in reducing gum inflammation and minimizing bad breath. When used with regular toothbrushing, use of a water flossing device enhances overall oral health.
