Why keeping your information updated matters: a quick guide for providers
Keeping your provider and practice information current ensures smoother claims processing, accurate directory listings and a better experience for your patients. Whether you’ve added a new provider, updated your Tax Identification Number (TIN) or moved to a new location, providing these updates helps prevent delays and ensures uninterrupted access to your benefits and resources. Maintaining accurate information also supports regulatory compliance and ensures members can easily find and contact your office.
Where to send your updates
Practice updates can be submitted through your provider portal, where you’ll find options to update provider information or manage location details.
You may also submit changes by completing the Provider Address Add/Change Form and sending it to CDact@geha.com.
Please note that submissions to CDact@geha.com are solely utilized for valid Add, Change or Term requests and not for status updates. For any follow-up inquiries, please contact Provider Relations at 1-800-505-8880, option 3.
We’ve streamlined our payor resources to make them easier for you to navigate
After feedback from providers, we worked to create a more transparent, efficient way to access member eligibility information. We consolidated key payor portal details in one place so you can quickly verify member information with just a few clicks.
To get started, visit Connection Dental, select Resource Center then under Resource Links, choose Payor Resources.
You can also use the Provider Portal Login link to go directly to the payor’s portal to register or sign in.
Features of the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system
Our automated IVR system is designed to make verifying your provider information seamless and efficient. Simply follow the phone prompts to access the following features:
- Fee schedule fax back
- Location effective date
- Initial application status
Access the IVR System Anytime — Our IVR system is available 24/7 for your convenience. Simply call 1-800-505-8880 and follow the provider validation prompts.

G.E.H.A Connection Dental payor list
Not all employer groups associated with payors use the G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network. Providers should always verify benefits and eligibility directly with the payor.
For payor contact information, call Provider Relations at 1-800-505-8880, option 3.
Medicare Advantage plan benefits
Under the G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network Payor List, all Medicare Advantage Plans are processed as PPO for dental benefits.
This means you can treat these members as you would any PPO patient — no need to worry about HMO dental restrictions!
Code of Conduct
As part of our G.E.H.A Compliance Program, all contracted entities that perform administrative or health care services must review the G.E.H.A Code of Ethical Business Conduct. This review is mandatory and must be completed when the partnership with G.E.H.A starts during the initial application process — and annually thereafter.
If you have any questions, contact G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network at 1-800-505-8880, option 4.
Mandatory general compliance and fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) training
All offices must complete the general compliance and fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) training found on the Connection Dental Network Provider Portal. Training is quick and easy — go to connectiondental.com and select Log In.
Good news: While the annual review is mandatory, the new attestation form only needs to be completed once. For questions, contact G.E.H.A Connection Dental Network at 1-800-505-8880, option 4.
